We still have a chance to win the league – Parker

Striker, Bernard Parker refused to throw in the towel on the team’s ambition to win the Absa Premiership this season insisting to kaizerchiefs.com that the “Amakhosi will continue to fight until the end”.

Parker worked hard as always on Saturday and when Orlando Pirates scored the 3rd goal he took the ball to the centre line to restart play and was seen urging his teammates to continue ‘fighting’.

“We gave away three quick goals early in the game but we showed character coming back and scoring two goals. We were unfortunate not to score the 3rd and the 4th goal to win the game,” said Parker.

“We have Celtic on Wednesday so we do not have much time to dwell on the result on Saturday. In fact we trained on Monday and all our focus is on the upcoming game against Celtic.

“We all believe that we still have a chance to win the league title. We are the first to admit that it will not be easy but we are going to continue to fight. I share the same ambition to win the league with Kaizer Chiefs this season.

“I have won the league in Europe but I want to win it in my home soil and with a game at hand and 10 games to go it is not impossible,” added Parker.
