“We didn’t do well,” reflects Itumeleng Khune about Saturday’s Derby loss. “We know, that performance was unacceptable. I just want to tell to our supporters, ‘please, come out again in force for the Golden Arrows match on Tuesday evening.”

The goalkeeper appreciates how the Kaizer Chiefs fans dominated the FNB Stadium on Saturday. “They always bring their passion and that rubs off on us as players. We want to apologise for what happened against Orlando Pirates. However, we now have to look forward.”

Amakhosi host Golden Arrows in an Absa Premiership fixture at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday evening (kick-off is at 19:30).

“Arrows have been doing well,” Khune looks ahead to the match. “They are quick on the transition and they play a bit like us. We just have to match them.”

Then, the 28-year-old has one final word to the Amakhosi fans again: “Let’s come rolling out! We want to make you proud!”

Tickets have been on sale at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide at R40 for adults, R10 for children under the age of 12 and R20 for parking ticket.
