Kaizer Chiefs defender Tefu Mashamaite said; “There is no Team big or small in the league. Polokwane City will come to us with confidence following their win (3 – 0) over TUKS last weekend. Equally so, we were disappointed last weekend when we were knocked out in the semifinals of the TKO and we have no choice but to focus on the next game in order to regain our confidence.”
“There are three points at stake and we are playing at home. Even though we know very well that it is not going to be easy, we will do our best to win the game. Coming from a loss over the weekend doesn’t mean it is a train smash. It is in the nature of every game to lose some and win some. On the weekend we created many chances but didn’t bury them and Platinum Stars created a few and got a goal. We must just rectify that and everything will come right again for us,” continued ‘Masha’.
“The fact that we knocked them out of the TKO by 3 – 0 is in the past and it will not make us complacent. It is all water under the bridge. The Team can be hammered 3 – 0 this week and next week win 5 – 0. They have a new Coach, Boebie Solomons but if we play as a team like we did previously, we will win the game;” concluded ‘Masha’.
