Tsepo Masilela has vowed that as a Team they want to win something this season. “We have to win something to show for the effort we have put in this season. We are grateful to be where we are at the moment. As you can see we are involved in the race for the league title as well as the Nedbank Cup,” said Tsepo before Chiefs’ departure to Polokwane where they will host the unpredictable Free State Stars.
The two will clash in the much anticipated Absa Premiership match at Polokwane’s Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday, 30 April 2014.
“People have the right of opinion to suggest that the Championship is out of our hands. We, as players are not listening to that talk. Our task is to prepare well and make sure we win our remaining games of the season. We are highly motivated to be involved in the two remaining competitions. We cannot go a season without a trophy at Chiefs and the players are well aware of that. We are extra motivated,” commented Masilela.
“Free State Stars have been blowing hot and cold this season. Their situation makes them dangerous opponents to face at this stage of the league. They have picked up points here and there of late. We will be looking for nothing else but the 3-points on Wednesday night,” vowed the tough tackling defender, Masilela.
Tickets for the game are sold at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers at R40 for adults. Gates will be opened at 16:30 and kickoff for the match is at 19:30.
