Kaizer Chiefs return to the FNB Stadium to host Bloemfontein Celtic in an Absa Premiership fixture tonight, on Wednesday, 4 May 2016, kick-off is at 19:30.

“The loss to Mamelodi Sundowns obviously dealt a bit of a blow to our confidence,” admits George Lebese. “However, make no mistake, we will go out there to redeem ourselves.”

Amakhosi beat the University of Pretoria and were defeated by Mamelodi Sundowns in their last two matches away from home. Now, Chiefs come back home and the Celtic encounter will give the Glamour Boys a chance to return to winning ways.

“The previous results don't matter,” continues Lebese, “we are not worried about their performance. Our main concern is to win tonight.”

The Chiefs winger said this at the backdrop of Celtic’s 5-0 win over Ajax Cape Town in their previous match.

The Amakhosi are placed third on the Absa Premiership log with 44 points from 27 matches.

Siwelele are placed 12th on the Absa Premiership log with 31 points from 27 matches.

Celtic and Chiefs have met in 56 league matches since 1985, with Amakhosi winning 22 compared to ten for tonight’s visitors, while 14 matches have been drawn.

Camaldine Abraw is the only player out of contention for places in the team due to a knee injury, while Daniel Cardoso is back in training.

Lorenzo Gordinho will miss this one after receiving his matching orders during last Saturday’s Sundowns clash.

Tickets for the much awaited match are on sale at R40 at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide.
