“We will rectify where we went wrong,” captain Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala looks back at the 2015/16 PSL season.

“We will definitely come back stronger next season.”

The captain saw his team finish fifth in the 2015/16 Absa Premiership and without adding silverware to the Amakhosi trophy cabinet.

“We’ll make things right,” Tshabalala pledges. “It was a tough season with a lot of lows. But every season brings its own experiences and we learnt a lot.”

The Amakhosi have drawn the most of all league teams this season, thirteen in total.

“This will be a season to put behind and move on,” acknowledges ‘Shabba’. “We would like to thank the supporters for travelling this journey with us throughout the season. We are as disappointed as they do.”

Kaizer Chiefs players will have an off-season break and will return to training at the end of June.

“We will use this off-season to reflect,” Tshabalala concludes.
