“We have adjusted well in Casablanca,” Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane reacts after the team’s first training session this morning after having arrived in the Moroccan city on Thursday afternoon. “The weather conditions are more or less the same as in Durban, to which we are used.”
Amakhosi will play Raja Casablanca in the second leg of the CAF Champions League on Sunday evening, kick-off at 19:00 (20:00, South African time. The game will be broadcasted live on SuperSport).
“We worked at training on sorting out some areas of our game,” reflects Letsholonyane about the training session.
Chiefs go into the Raja game with a slight disadvantage after losing the first leg 1-0 at home.
Letsholonyane, however, feels positive ahead of the encounter against the Moroccan team: “Nothing is lost as yet. We still have a chance to qualify for the next round. We have definitely come here to compete.”
