Kaizer Chiefs will be playing in the first leg of the first round of the CAF Champions League against Liga Desportiva Muçulmana de Maputo of Mozambique at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday 1 March at 7pm.
Morgan Gould had the following views to share,
“It is a very important game as we would like to do well in the CAF games. It is highly important to use your home advantage so you can progress to the next stage. Home games are must win games so that when we play away, even a draw can get us through. It is highly important to do what we plan to do and to get to the 2ndRound,” said Gould.
“We are going on with business as usual. The Coach expects us to attack and not to hold back in any game we play. We share the same respect for all competitions CAF, Nedbank Cup and the League. It’s a normal game at home. When you go away that’s when it becomes a mind game that’s when you have to adjust your mind to expect some difficulties, that’s how the CAF competitions are,” continued Gould.
“The people of EThekwini have got love for us, we reciprocate by showing them love and we will do our best to play good football on the day. We have won the trophies in Durban before. We urge the people of Durban to come out in large numbers to support the Team on Saturday,” said Gould.
