Chiefs take on SuperSport United in the quarterfinal of the Nedbank Cup this Saturday at FNB Stadium.
Coach Baxter has called on his charges to bounce back from the slump of the past two games,
"We have to recover in time for the next game. We have to make sure we get back into the game strong, mentally and physically. Obviously it won't be easy coming from two defeats in a row."
Readiness of his players:
"We need a big push from the players to put the past defeats right. We will field a Team that is ready tactically, physically and with the desire to go win the game. The confidence after the two defeats can be battered and I'm hoping that we respond. We have to use the Nedbank Cup to get back on track."
About SuperSport United:
"They are hungry as us. It will be a competitive game and difficult for both sides. For the supporters it will be an entertaining clash, but it will not be a smooth passage against them. We have to fight our way back in track,"
There have been 11 previous cup matches between the two sides. SuperSport won four in a row up until the SAA Supa 8 final in 2004, but since then it has been six on the trot from Chiefs.
Tickets can be purchased at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers countrywide at R40 for adults and R10 for children under the age of 12.
Kickoff is at 15:00.
