The two Kaizer Chiefs fans, Stephen Sennya (31) from Bochom, Limpopo and Geshwin Chauke (23) from Giyane joined the team for dinner on Friday night at the hotel just outside, Polokwane.
“It was such an amazing experience. I will never forget this day in my life,” said Stephen was visibly on cloud9 as he shared his experience with kaizerchiefs.com.
“It was always my dream to meet my two favourite players Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Siphiwe Tshabalala and it finally happened on Friday thanks to Vodacom and Kaizer Chiefs,” said the soft spoken Geshwin sporting the Kaizer Chiefs scarf and a Makarapa.
“When I received a call on the 4th July, I immediately called my friends for a celebration. Now I just can’t wait to go to the stadium to watch Chiefs against Tottenham Hotspur. I am confident that we are going to win the game this afternoon. Looking at the guys at the hotel last night they were all confident…we can beat them for sure,” added Geshwin.
“I had an opportunity to speak to Thomas Sweswe and the new signing, Lehlonolo Majoro. It is a great signing for the Club and I wished him all the best. I just felt that all the guys were just brilliant with us. I would like to thank Vodacom and Club for providing us with such a great opportunity.”
“I am also confident that we going to win this afternoon. The guys will be inspired by the new kit…as fans we are excited about the kit, the Vodacom Challenge and the upcoming season. This is time for us to Rise,” added Stephen before excusing himself to join the team together with Geshwin for the Prematch meal.
Meanwhile, also a Kaizer Chiefs fan Tebugo Masalesa who was randomly chosen on the stands wearing a Vodacom t-shirt during the Kaizer Chiefs vs. Black Aces at Peter Mokaba Stadium on 16 April 2011 also joined the winners. Masalesa will be attending all the games courtesy of sponsors Vodacom.
