Reneilwe Letsholonyane could be out for the rest of the season following a knee injury he sustained last Wednesday when Bafana Bafana took on neighbours, Zambia in a practise match played at Rand Stadium.

Revealing the news to kaizerchiefs.com on Tuesday afternoon was Head Coach, Vladimir Vermezovic.

“Reneilwe will be out for the rest of the season due to injury. It is not the first time that a player from Chiefs has come back from Bafana Bafana with an injury. It is a blow for us. We will have to look at other players in the squad to fill the gap left by him,”

The Serbian who also represented his country as a player added that the Club will continue to be supportive of Bafana Bafana; “We have always supported Bafana Bafana and we will continue to release players called up for national duty.
