Reneilwe “Yeye” Letsholonyane was once again at his best on Saturday, inspiring the Amakhosi to a resounding 2-0 victory against AmaZulu in the beginning stages of the Telkom Knockout, but he will be an interested spectator this Sunday after picking up his third yellow card.

‘Yeye’ has been a regular, pulling strings in the midfield for the Glamour Boys this season, and will be surely missed against the reigning champions, SuperSport United.

“I would have liked to be with my teammates on Sunday. I always want to contribute positively to the team like I did last Saturday. We have a good squad this season and I am sure the team will continue doing well in my absence,” said Letsholonyane who was voted ‘Man of the Match’ against AmaZulu.

Letsholonyane, speaking to kaizerchiefs.com after a training session at Naturena, said that the focus this weekend is on Absa Premiership encounter against SuperSport United.

He will, together with his teammates, be watching with interest to see which team will play in the next round of Telkom Knockout with the draw taking place this coming Thursday.

SuperSport United, Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates are some of the teams that will be going to the hat at Melrose Arch, “we are ready to play anyone and I would not choose any side in particular. We always want to do well against whoever we get to play against,” added Letsholonyane.
