Kaizer Chiefs’ academy teams won all four of their SAFA Gauteng Development League (GDL) matches against Wits Juniors at Marks Park on Saturday, 8 June, in another impressive showing for the Club’s development structures.
The U-13s won 2-1 in the opening fixture, which was followed by a 3-1 win for the U-15s.
The U-17s emerged victorious in a seven-goal thriller by 4-3, and the U-19s closed out a very productive day for young Amakhosi with a 3-1 triumph.
On Sunday morning, 9 June, the Chiefs U-17s played to a 1-1 draw in a catch-up game against Kathorus Hyper Academy at the Village.
TS Galaxy will be Amakhosi’s next opponents when they visit the Village on Sunday, 16 June, for another round of the 2024 GDL, and on Monday, 17 June, the Club’s U-17 and U-19 teams will be in action at NWU Vaal, making up previously postponed fixtures against North West University.
