Fellow striker Ryan Moon, however, has kept his position in the starting line-up thanks to his fine performance in last week’s 2-1 win over Polokwane City. Moon brilliantly headed in Amakhosi’s opening goal in that encounter.
George Maluleka, meanwhile, is back in the side after having sat out the City clash due to suspension. He replaces Wiseman Meyiwa.
Coach Steve Komphela has otherwise kept faith in the same side that played so well last week.
That means that Siphelele Ntshangase and Dumsani Zuma will start from the bench. Ntshangase performed admirably against City after coming on as a substitute on his debut, while Zuma netted the winner after coming from the bench last week.
The match between Chiefs and Baroka will take place at New Peter Mokaba Stadium this Sunday afternoon (kick-off is at 15:30).
The referee for the match is Chris Harrison.
