Kaizer Chiefs are gearing up for their fourth league game of the 2023/24 season when they host AmaZulu FC in their first home game of the season to be played at FNB Stadium this coming Saturday.

Amakhosi kicked off the season with a home fixture at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban against Chippa United just over a fortnight ago. That game was followed by two away fixtures against Mamelodi Sundowns and TS Galaxy.

Both Chiefs and AmaZulu are under some pressure from their fans as both are yet to register a win after their first three league matches of the new season. Amakhosi’s only win was in the MTN8 against Cape Town City.

Coach Molefi Ntseki and his charges are working hard to ensure that they change their fortunes by converting the many chances they’ve been creating and bring smiles on the face of the home crowd at FNB Stadium.

The team will be delighted to have Ashley Du Preez back after missing the last match due to ill health. The talisman has scored two goals in the three matches he played this season.

“We are so happy to be back at FNB Stadium once again this season,” says Marketing Director Jessica Motaung. “Our partners SMSA have prepared the stadium and pitch to ensure the players enjoy themselves on the pitch, and supporters have a great experience from the moment they arrive. We are looking forward to seeing our home crowd and call for calm, as we have young people and women in the stadium who will be making use of our popular Family Zone experience.”

This season, parents with children will once again be accommodated in the Family Zone, courtesy of Kaizer Chiefs and John Deere. Tickets range from R220 to R350 – depending on the number of children and adults attending the match. There will be entertainment in the Family Zone and the ticket also comes with a special parking that’s not far from the Amakhosi Family Zone sitting area.

Moreover, the Toyota Zone returns for this home game on Saturday. The popular Toyota Zone gives Amakhosi supporters who drive any Toyota vehicle a chance to enjoy free and secure parking next to the stadium. The Toyota Zone only accommodates 250 vehicles and space is allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Space will be reserved strictly for those with a match ticket and in a Toyota vehicle.

General tickets for the DStv Premiership match are available online at www.ticketpros.co.za or through TicketPro outlets, including Spar and Boxer supermarkets, Sasol and Shell filling stations, as well as Postnet outlets, at R60 per ticket.

Supporters wishing to purchase their season tickets can do so online at www.ticketpros.co.za or at the stadium on Saturday. The first 250 people to purchase their tickets will receive a ticket worth R900 to see Burna Boy in concert at FNB Stadium on 23 September.
