With four players out on national duty for their respective countries, coach Ernst Middendorp has only made three changes to the team that started Chiefs’ last match against Golden Arrows in the Absa Premiership on 1 October.
There are a number of new faces on the bench with some players invited from the Chiefs Reserve team to join this weekend’s camp as the team will be playing two matches in two days.
Amakhosi supporters will also be pleased to see Ramahlwe Mphalele and Kgotso Moleko on the bench after recovering from their injuries.
On the field of play, Daniel Akpeyi retains his position in the goalkeeping department. His defence is made up of Yagan Sasman, Njabulo Blom, Daniel Cardoso and Philani Zulu.
Captain Willard Katsande will be joined by Kearyn Baccus, Lebogang Manyama, Dumsani Zuma and Khama Billiat in midfield. Leonardo Castro will lead the attack.
This afternoon’s Shell Helix Ultra Cup friendly match between Amakhosi and Mamelodi Sundowns will kick off is at 16:00 at FNB Stadium.
The match referee is Victor Hlungwani. He is assisted by Tshepo Nojila and S Jali. The fourth official is Kenneth Mamegwa
