Chiefs will begin their quest for the 2020/21 Nedbank Cup with a home fixture against GladAfrica Championship outfit, Richards Bay FC at FNB Stadium this afternoon.

Amakhosi will make changes in personnel for the game against the National First Division side by bringing in six new faces when compared to last weekend’s starting XI in the DStv Premiership game against Orlando Pirates.

The defending team is made up of Kgotso Moleko at right-back. He will take Siyabonga Ngezana’s place, who is suspended after accumulating for yellow cards. Daniel Cardoso and  will be Anthony Akumu Agay at the centre of the defence. Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya comes in for Philani Zulu at left-back.

With the exception of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Amakhosi have decided to change the midfield by bringing in Darrel Matsheke, Siphelele Ntshangase, Happy Mashiane on the left and Bernard Parker on the right.

In attack Amakhosi will go with Samir Nurković. He will also wear the captain’s armband.

Match officials are referee Sicelo Velapi. His assistants are Kamohelo Ramutsindela and Modisa Moretsi. The fourth official Jantjie Dlamini.
