Coach Arthur Zwane could not believe it when his side conceded in the referee’s added time to play a draw against SuperSport United Reserves. Chiefs Reserves dominated most of the play with some enterprising display of football.  They looked headed to a comfortable home win after Sibusiso Milazi scored at the stroke of half time.

The match played at midday on Sunday at the Dobsonville Stadium, Soweto.

The match was anticipated to be a tight affair with both teams going into the match separated by a point on the Multichoice Diski Challenge log. With Chiefs Reserves looking at the referee to blow the final whistle, Reagan Apollis had other ideas, at the death, he equalised for United to bring Dobsonville Stadium to a deafening silence.

Zwane was forced to make early substitution with Samkelo Zwane replacing an injured Keletso Sifama after 33 minutes on the clock. The other substitution was a direct swap of Wandile Khwinana for Yaseen Bunting in the 75th minute of the pulsating encounter.

As a result, Chiefs Reserves maintain the seventh spot with 30 points after 20 games played so far in the MDC league.
