The festival is scheduled to take place this weekend on 3 and 4 December. The encounter between Chiefs and United will take place on Sunday, 4 December (kick-off is at 11:00).
The first of four MDC games played in the weekend at Sisa Dukashe Stadium will be between Platinum Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday, 3 December (kick-off at 11:00). Hereafter, SuperSport United will face Orlando Pirates (at 13:00).
The last match will be between Mamelodi Sundowns and Chippa United on Sunday, 4 December (kick-off at 13:00).
All these matches will be televised live on SuperSport TV.
Coach Arthur Zwane and his troops will be going into this one with the aim of rectifying the unexpected 0-1 defeat against Chippa United last Saturday: “A win this weekend will ensure that we stay within touching distance of the log leaders. We have a deficit of five points to catch-up with leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.”
Chiefs Reserves and United are separated by two points on the log, with United in fourth position, having amassed sixteen points. Chiefs occupy seventh spot with fourteen points. All the clubs in the MDC have played eight games.
Tickets can be collected on 1 and 2 December at an activation taking place at Mdantsane City Mall (at the Shoprite) between 16:00-18:00. Additionally, tickets can be collected at Sisa Dukashe Stadium between 13:00 and 18:00 on Thursday and Friday.
