Kaizer Chiefs will be on the road again this weekend when they travel to the lowveld to face TS Galaxy in Nelspruit on Sunday afternoon in the DStv Premiership.
This will be Amakhosi’s third league match of the new season, after they drew their first match against Chippa United and lost their second match, controversially, to Mamelodi Sundowns last Wednesday.
Amakhosi took a break from league action for the MTN8 quarterfinal match against Cape Town City on Sunday in Cape Town. The Glamour Boys were 2-1 victors in the match played at Athlone Stadium in the Mother City, and advanced to the semi-finals of the Wafa-Wafa competition..
With one point in the bag after two matches in the DStv Premiership, coach Molefi Ntseki and his troops will want to pick up maximum points from Sunday’s match and start solidifying their position on the log.
The hosts, TS Galaxy, are high in confidence after their positive start to the season, picking up a win in their first game against new comers Cape Town Spurs and drawing their second against Chippa United.
It could also be an emotional game for Kaizer Chiefs defender Given Msimango, who will be at Mbombela Stadium to face his former team mates.
The match promises to be an exciting affair for those in attendance and Amakhosi are encouraged to get their new Kappa jersey and wear it with pride as they rally behind their team on Sunday.
Tickets for this exhilarating match up between Amakhosi and the Rockets are available online at www.computicket.co.za or through Computicket outlets including Shoprite and Checkers supermarkets at R70 per ticket.
Amakhosi supporters Mpumalanga are urged to purchase their tickets and arrive early at the stadium to see new-look Amakhosi live at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday at 3pm.
