Kaizer Chiefs Reserves will face Platinum Stars Reserves for a MultiChoice Diski Challenge game this weekend. The fixture is scheduled at Vryburg’s Huhudi Stadium on Saturday, 6 February (kick-off is at 12:00).
Amakhosi climbed up the ladder to eighth place on the log with 15 points after defeating Chippa United 3-2 last weekend. Stars are in sixth position with 18 points.
Chiefs will be looking at Emmanuel Letlotlo to increase his goal tally (six goals), as he is chasing the current leading goal scorers, Golden Arrows’ Sibusiso Sibeko and Polokwane City’s Siphesihle Nzimande, who have both netted seven times.
Benny Malope is also on six goals, but he was recently loaned out by Chiefs to First Division side Moroka Swallows. Another player who was a regular in Amakhosi’s MDC team, Nkululeko Buthelezi, has joined the Birds on loan as well.
Tickets can be collected for free at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide. A requirement, however, is a presentation of a valid RSA ID document and a maximum of two tickets will be issued.
