The two Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will be in Durban for a Telkom Knockout semi-final that will see the winners get into the final of this last trophy for 2018. The Glamour Boys and the Buccaneers will meet at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 24 November at 15:00.
As part of making summer days exciting for Amakhosi supporters who did not get a chance to purchase tickets, Vodacom and Kaizer Chiefs will be giving away tickets to the game, including VIP hospitality tickets at the roadshow at The Workshop Shopping Centre. Tickets for this match are already sold out, but we are making hundreds available to our beloved supporters.
The Vodacom and Kaizer Chiefs activation teams will be at The Workshop in Durban from midday until 18:00 on Friday, 23 November 2018. Vodacom will set up an interactive M-Store area where supporters will have an opportunity to interact with Kaizer Chiefs players, get autographs and pictures with their favourite players. Supporters also stand a chance to win airtime, handsets by participating in some of the activities on the day.
The KC Mobile store will be out in full force at these events with exciting and exclusive merchandise available for purchasing at very reasonable Black Friday prices. Supporters who spend R499 or more will receive a ticket as part of the Black Friday special.
KC Insurance agents will be on hand to assist with product information for supporters and shoppers.
Another chance to receive a ticket will be for supporters to get a KC Mobile starter pack, recharge for R55 and get a ticket.
Medshield as Kaizer Chiefs’ medical aid scheme will also be at the activation with brokers who will educate supporters and shoppers about two of their products MediValue and MediPhila and the importance of medical aid cover.
Kaizer Chiefs’ Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung believes one of the primary motivating factors within the team is to make “our fantastic supporters happy and ensure they are able to see the Derby in Durban as it is a once in a lifetime experience for many. The team is well prepared to ensure as many of our fans who do not have tickets receive tickets this week through our various activations on the ground in Durban and online via our social media platforms”.
She adds: “It’s good to have our partners, Vodacom by our side once for our activation on Friday at the Workshop. I am certain our supporters will respond in typical Amakhosi fashion by turning out in their numbers to an occasion not to be missed. We appeal to everyone to be safe inside and outside the stadium and behave themselves on Saturday. Those who are travelling from outside of Durban need to be safe and refrain from drinking and driving.”
Lucky fans will on Friday will walk away with fabulous prizes on offer, including match tickets, data bundles, airtime, hampers and jerseys, courtesy of Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom.
Supporters who are near Umlazi can visit the Kaizer Chiefs store at Mega City are encouraged to visit the store this week, get the KC Mobile, RICA, load a minimum of R55 airtime and receive a ticket. The offer is on a first come first serve basis and is available while stocks last.
