Southgate Mall is the place to be on Friday (11 November) where, between 10:00 and 17:00, Kaizer Chiefs will be set up to meet with fans ahead of the weekend’s Carling Black Label Cup at FNB stadium.
Amakhosi face Orlando Pirates in the second semifinal at 12:00 on Saturday, with the final kicking off at 17:00.
Located in the mall’s centre court, across from Wimpy, TotalSports, Edgars and Woolworths, the Club’s Director of Marketing, Jessica Motaung explains that the Chiefs stand will be there to serve as a focal point for supporters to congregate in anticipation of another victory over the ‘old foe’ on Saturday.
“The Carling Black Label Cup always delivers a great festival of football for our supporters, many of whom travel from out of town. It would be awesome for as many of them as possible to come to Southgate Mall on Friday to gather among fellow fans on the eve of the Soweto Derby and begin to stir up the excitement ahead of the match,” she says.
“Moreover, there will be plenty of opportunity for people to take advantage some enticing offers from KC Retail and KC Mobile while they are there,” she adds.
Indeed, KC Retail will be running some attractive specials, such as offering supporters the chance to have personalised letters and numbering - as authentic as those worn by the players - printed on their jerseys.
Meanwhile, KC Mobile will also be on hand with great deals on starter packs that put customers in position to enter the amazing ‘Win a Toyota Corolla Cross’ competition, which is currently running. No supporter should miss out on possibly driving off in this magnificent brand-new vehicle.
Fans will further be able to avail themselves of the Club’s commercial services at FNB stadium on Saturday, where they will find the full KC team assembled at Gate K, ready and willing to enhance the KC match-day experience for followers of the Gold & Black.
