Kaizer Chiefs Reserves were held to a 2-2 draw by Royal AM in Round 10 of the 2023/24 DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) at the Harry Gwala stadium in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday.

The result takes Amakhosi up to 19 points, keeping them in third place, four points behind the leaders, of the national Under 23 league competition.

Their next match will see them host Cape Town City on Sunday, 19 November.

In the SAFA Gauteng Development League (GDL) Youth Cup, the Chiefs Under 13s progressed to the next round after beating Rosina Sedibane 2-1. The Under 17s also triumphed against Rosina by a resounding 6-3 margin. Sadly for the Under 15s, their cup run was ended when they lost 4-2 to Rosina in a penalty shootout, following a 1-1 draw.

The Under 19s restored some joy by keeping their hopes alive with a 4-3 win over Young Boys, and taking a step closer to glory.
