The second leg of the big Soweto Derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates in the 2022/23 season is on this afternoon at FNB Stadium.
The game in the first round ended 1-0 in favour Chiefs, making it four wins in a row for the Glamour Boys. Pirates will try and go all out to stop the Chiefs from making it five in a row.
Chiefs will also want to win the match after losing their last league match against Golden Arrows last weekend. Pirates were victorious in their last outing beating Maritzburg United 2-1.
The two team are separated by three points on the log. Chiefs are still in 5th spot with 28 points after 20 matches. The Sea Robbers who are 3rd after collecting 31 points in 20 outings.
Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has made one change to the team with Edmilson Dove coming back from illness to replace defender Austin Dube.
Pirates will be without their coach Jose Riveiro on the bench after being given his marching in the Nedbank Cup two weeks ago.
Amakhosi keep to the 4-5-1 formation this afternoon.
Brandon Petersen is the goalie.
Last week’s goal scorer S’fiso Hlanti is at left-back. Zitha Kwinika will reunite with Dove at centre-back and Siyabonga Ngezana will continue to hold the fort at right-back.
Siyethemba Sithebe and Yusuf Maart are in midfield.
Teenager Mduduzi Shabalala who scored his second goal of the season will be in front of the two central midfielders.
Ashley Du Preez and Keagan Dolly will be on the left and right flanks once again.
Christian Saile Basomboli will lead the attack.

The referee this afternoon is Abongile Tom. He is assisted by Zakhele Siwela and Kgara Mokowna. The fourth official is Cedric Muvhali.
Glamour Boys and the Buccaneers will kick off at 15:30 at FNB Stadium in Nasrec. The DStv Premiership match will be live on SuperSport’s PSL Channel 202 on DStv, SABC 1 and various SABC radio stations - with regular updates of the match on Twitter @KaizerChiefs.
