Eid al-Fitr is the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal. It marks the end of Ramadan, which is a month of fasting and prayer.
“I wish the Muslims all the best with their celebrations,” adds the Chairman. “On behalf of the Kaizer Chiefs Family, I wish our Muslim supporters and stakeholders in general a wonderful Eid al-Fitr.”
Some of the activities that form part of Eid al-Fitr in the Muslim communities will involve prayer sessions and listening to sermons.
“It is gratifying to note that during these celebrations, work of charity takes place,” concludes the Chairman, “while prayer will be central in all the events.”
