Just 7 minutes away from Cape Town International Airport you will find Elsies River, a diverse and colourful area, much like the Kaizer Chiefs branch that hails from here.  They launched in June 2016 and ever since have been dedicated in their support for the team.  Julius Kitty is the chairperson of the branch and has demonstrated good leadership qualities which have seen the branch grow from strength to strength.

It is part of their mission to attend as many games as possible so travelling to Johannesburg, Durban or even Port Elizabeth to watch a game is part of their commitment.  COVID-19 has been a big challenge for the branch as they have not been able to meet and enjoy games together.

They are exhilarated and re-energised now that the PSL has resumed because this is a positive sign that things are slowly improving.  They look forward to the day when they can once again enter a stadium to watch their beloved team in action.

Elsies River message to the team is to keep up the great work - they are giving supporters across the country such joy and happiness.  It is wonderful to see the team back on the field and it gives supporters a deep feeling of pride and a sense of belonging to the Kaizer Chiefs Family of millions.

Elsies River branch loves the team with all their heart.

Jacky Molefe, the condolence officer of Elsies River Branch would like to remind all women to raise your voice and be heard because we matter.  She also asks that we all stand up against gender-based violence, not only in Women’s month, but every single day because this also matters.
