The Kaizer Chiefs Development Academy teams will be back in action this weekend when they host Panorama FC in round 19 of the SAFA Gauteng Development League at the Kaizer Chiefs Village on Saturday, 29 July.

As usual, the day begins at 9:00 on Saturday morning, with the Under-13 fixture. Last week, Amakhosi Under-13s continued their remarkable unbeaten run with an impressive 4-1 victory over Randburg FC to cement their place at the top of the table on 50 points, having now won 16 of the 18 matches played.

Following that, at 10:30, the Under-15s will be aiming to bounce back from a narrow 1-0 defeat against Randburg in their last outing and extend their lead atop the standings in front of their home fans. They currently sit on 40 points from their 18 matches.

At midday, the Under-17 Glamour Boys will take the confidence from beating Randburg 2-1 in their own backyard last weekend onto the field against Panorama as they close in on the top spot in their league, where they presently occupy second place, with 40 points.

Closing out what is sure to be a really entertaining day’s football, the Under-19 match-up kicks off at 14:00. Their previous encounter, against Randburg, ended goalless and they will be determined to add three more points to their total of 38, in order to improve on their fourth place on the log.
