Amakhosi are playing their final match of the 2017/18 season against the relegation threatened Ajax Cape Town on Saturday 12 May. The match is scheduled at Cape Town Stadium. All the ABSA Premiership matches this weekend kick-off at 15:00.
"We have experienced a tough season," admits Molangoane. "Be that as it may, we have a job to do. We want to close this chapter on a high. A good closure will give the team the much-needed boost going into the new season."
Amakhosi are playing for a third-place finish while The Urban Warriors are faced with the prospects of joining Black Leopards and Jomo Cosmos in the promotion play offs.
"We are looking forward to a great event," comments Molangoane. " Cape Town people never disappoint when it comes to match attendance. As for us we've worked hard in the past two weeks to sharpen a number of areas in our play especially the finishing part of our game."
Patric Mabedi has led Amakhosi to a loss and a win in his reign as the interim coach. "The coach has instilled a few elements already in a short space of time," says Molangoane. "All what's needed is to produce the results in the match. We have worked hard to prepare for this match. We want to give our supporters something to cheer about. We also want to go back to continental club competition next season."
The stakes are high in the grand finale match of the season. "I wish to thank the supporters," appreciates Molangoane. "Though we faced some challenges along the way, the supporters did show up at our matches. We reiterate our gratitude to them for always being there for team."
