On Friday 19 August, Umlazi will be buzzing as Amakhosi roll into the Banana City for an epic activation at Mega City Mall ahead of the first DStv Premiership clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Richards Bay.

As part of marking our return to Durban after the Covid-19 enforced hiatus, Amakhosi are excited to be back home in Durban and looking forward to interacting with supporters on Friday and Saturday.

On the eve of the match, supporters stand a chance of winning tickets to the match from the Vodacom and Kaizer Chiefs activation teams who will be at Mega City in Umlazi, south of Durban, from midday until 18h00 on Friday, 19 August 2022.

Supporters will have an opportunity to interact with Kaizer Chiefs players, have autographs signed and get pictures taken with their favourite players. Supporters also stand a chance to win airtime, jerseys, smartphones tickets, etc. by participating in some of the activities on the day.

The KC Mobile Starter Pack will be available and our sales agents will ensure that supporters who connect to KC Mobile and recharge stand a chance to win some of the great prizes.

KC Retail will also be on hand for supporters who are interested in purchasing genuine merchandise including the new jersey. Supporters will also be able to have their jerseys printed at the roadshow.

“We call on supporters to come to both the roadshow in Umlazi and the game at the stadium in numbers,” Motaung added.

The roadshow will be a build-up to Amakhosi welcoming Richards Bay for a game at their alternative home venue, Moses Mabhida Stadium, on Saturday. The two teams will do battle for the all-important three points at the stadium on Saturday 20 August at 20h00.
