And that’s why Khune went through the paces today with the rest of the Bafana Bafana squad.
This doesn’t mean though that the 30-year-old will necessarily be in goal for the first qualifier against Senegal at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday, 10 November 2017. He first has to pass a fitness test.
The second qualifying match will take place on Tuesday night, 14 November, in Dakar, Senegal.
