“I am really looking forward to meeting the supporters and discussing Saturday’s Derby,” enthuses Gert Schalkwyk, who will be one of four legends to visit four KC Stores countrywide on Friday, 8 February 2019.
The former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder will be there between 12:00 and 14:00 at the KC Store at 39 Fatima Bhayat in Rustenburg CBD.
Schalkwyk will not only talk to the supporters about the upcoming clash against Orlando Pirates, you can also pose with him for a picture or a selfie.
Schalkwyk played in several Derbies during his time at Chiefs between 2004 and 2009.
Nhlanhla Kubeka will visit the KC Store at Golden Walk in Germiston between 12:00 and 14:00. The defender is still remembered for his role in helping Chiefs win the 2001 African Cup Winner’s Cup.
Meanwhile, Patrick Mayo will be at the KC Store at Pier 14 Mall in Port Elizabeth, between 12:00 and 14:00.
And last, but not least KC Legend Gardner Seale, will be at the KC Store at Tramshed in the Pretoria CBD. The former left-back played for Chiefs in the late eighties and early nineties and was part of the side that won all those trophies in 1991 and 1992, including two league titles.
“It will be fabulous,” Mayo looks forward to the chance to mix with the Chiefs supporters at our KC Store in Port Elizabeth.
