TM on the Teams performance thus far:
So far so good, we haven't lost a game since the start of the year and we are in the top five in the league and we are with the pack. It's very important to stay with the pack till the late stages of the league and see what happens down the line. Obviously we would love to be number one at this stage, but what gives us comfort is that we are not in a bad position and are well positioned to make a run for it.
TM on facing Baroka FC this weekend:
We are expecting a tough game from them, right now there are no more easy games. We are well aware that they are not in a good position and they are going to give their all, so we need to make sure that we are prepared and play a good game.
TM on an intense period coming up:
At the moment we are taking it one game at a time. Our focus now is on Baroka and not thinking about fixtures in April. Let's focus on Saturday and we'll deal with games against the top teams (Sundowns, SuperSport and Cape Town City) when they come. It's important that we don't lose focus at this stage.
TM on getting three points:
We are at the crucial stage of the season where every three points counts and we are going for maximum points. If you take a closer look at the top four or five teams there's little difference. You have to win your games to stay there and give yourself a good chance to fight for the league because with all these teams there it makes it that much difficult. We will try and focus on what we can control, which is our performance.
TM on importance of experience in the squad at this stage:
If you check so far the seniour players have stepped up when given an opportunity. However though, every player in the squad is just as important as the next. When there's suspensions or injuries the coach will make the call on who will play and our job is to be united and support one another. It's not about experience players at this stage, everyone is important and we need every player to come to the party and deliver.
TM on fans’ support in Polokwane:
In terms of the support I cannot question the support we have been getting from our supporters. When we went to Ajax the other day it was fantastic, when we played Highlands in Durban and the Derby the support has been there throughout. The support has been amazing and we thank them for that because we are in this together and its important that give it our last push.
