“Mido has recovered and is fit again,” confirms first team physiotherapist David Milner. “He is fully participating in training sessions. Of course, he’s not match fit as yet, but it’s still a way to go before our Nedbank Cup quarterfinal, which will only be played in about ten days and he might be ready by then.”
Milner also discussed the progress of Tsepo Masilela and Emmanuel Letlotlo. “They both played in a practice match last weekend,” Milner reveals, “and they came out of it without any pain. We are happy with their progress.”
An ankle injury has kept Masilela on the sidelines for months, while Letlotlo has struggled with a knee injury from almost the beginning of the season.
Kabelo Mahlasela’s road to recovery is progressing well. “He’s getting stronger and stronger with each day,” Milner points out.
