Coach Steve Komphela, however, still has five changes left to make, excluding the goalkeeper, who can also be substituted. The fans, meanwhile, will make the first change early in the second half (there are six in field substitutions in total).

Chiefs’ new signings Philani Zulu, Bhongolethu Jayiya and Dumsani Zuma all make the bench, while Teenage Hadebe sustained a light injury in last week’s match against Township Rollers and will therefore not participate in this afternoon’s clash.

The 2017 Carling Black Label Champion Cup will be the seventh time this showpiece fixture is held, the first coming in 2011.

If the game ends in a draw today, there will be no extra time and penalties will be taken immediately.
