“I know what’s expected of me,” the Italian continued. “When you join a big club like Chiefs you know what you have to do and that is to win points. I am very happy with the professionalism of my team. The players are working hard at training and that’s exactly what we need to do if we want to challenge for honours this season.”
Solinas felt that Sundowns played well, before adding, “It tells a story to start the season and to be able to compete with the reigning champs, who had already played several highly competitive games in the African Champions League. “We have a limited period to recover before our next game against Bidvest Wits,” concluded Solinas. “It promises to be another tough encounter, but we will be ready come Tuesday night.”
Kaizer Chiefs will welcome Bidvest Wits for an Absa Premiership clash on Tuesday, 7 August, at FNB Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 19:30.
Tickets for the match are sold at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide at R40. Parking is FREE at designated areas close to the stadium entrance. For Toyota drivers, there’s a provision parking in the Toyota Zone.
