Pule has gone AWOL and has never reported for duty since the Telkom Charity Cup on July 28.
"This will, unfortunately rule him our of our league match against Wits University on Wednesday and subsequently our BP Top Eight clash against Ria Stars on Saturday. The player remains suspended pending the outcome of the DC,” said management in a statement released today.
The disciplinary committee will decide what action should be taken against the player. Chiefs is extremely disappointed at his unprofessional behaviour after every attempt to salvage the situation.
However, the club is very concerned about Pule’s social welfare. “We believe that a lot of external factors are contributing to this problem plus the fact that he might be hanging around with bad company.”
We are looking deeper into the cause of the problem and will do everything possible to help the player as he is an important part of the Kaizer Chiefs family. The player also has great talent and he can contribute a lot to the success of the national team.
