Kaizer Chiefs Reserves gave a silver lining to a cloudy weekend for the Amakhosi Faithful when they soundly defeated Moroka Swallows Reserves 4-1 in an exciting DStv Diski Challenge encounter on Sunday at the Tsakane stadium in Tsakane.

Players Neo Bohloko, Donay Jansen, Jeremiah Thanyane and Njabulo Hlongwane provided the goals for the young Glamour Boys.

The emphatic victory enables 4^th placed Chiefs to close the gap between themselves and 3^rd placed Orlando Pirates to just four points after 21 rounds of the national U-23 league competition.

Amakhosi will be looking to make up the seven points by which they trail log leaders, Mamelodi Sundowns, in their remaining nine rounds of the campaign, beginning with a visit from Lamontville Golden Arrows Reserves on Saturday, 16 March.
