- One Voice
- One Nation
- One Africa
To go with this theme, Amakhosi launched a limited edition unity T-shirt at the Soweto Derby.
“The T-shirt represents togetherness when it comes to the team,” Bernard Parkers reflects. “To be together, to be ‘One Family’ also goes beyond soccer - it’s the love for each other, for my teammates, for my family, for my fellow South Africans and Africans.”
The Kaizer Chiefs striker admits that losing out on the Telkom Knockout final is a major setback. “That only reiterates the cause to be ‘One Team, One Family’. It’s about encouraging and motivating each other. To clap each other’s back and to support as well as show love for each other. That’s what the words on the T-shirt represent.”
‘We, as players, clearly understand what we want to achieve during this whole campaign. We know that. It’s about togetherness - as players, with the office staff and, above all, with our supporters. We are one Family, forming a strong unit. Together we will become better and will achieve.”
Amakhosi is an African Family with members all over the world and that’s why we have created this very special T-shirt, which is for sale at R249.
