The same line-up helped Kaizer Chiefs to a 1-0 victory over Chippa United on Wednesday, with Khama Billiat netting the winner.
It means that Kgotso Moleko has recovered from the injury the defender sustained during the clash against the Chilli Boys – he had to be substituted because of that – and that Mulomowandau Mathoho has also fully recuperated from his muscle strain.
Amakhosi are on top of the Absa Premiership log with 56 points from 29 matches. That’s the same number of points as Mamelodi Sundowns, but Chiefs have a better goal difference, +21 versus +18.
Baroka are down in 15th spot with 28 points and will be fighting hard to escape the promotion/relegation play-offs.
Bakgakga lost 4-1 to SuperSport United on Wednesday, but they did beat Sundowns 1-0 three days earlier.
Amakhosi’s rivals for the league title, the Brazilians, will, in their last game, face Black Leopards, another team with relegation worries.
Chiefs will go into this afternoon’s encounter with Itumeleng Khune continuing in goal. The 33-year-old will also wear the captaincy armband.
The backline will be, from the right, Kgotso Moleko, Mathoho, Daniel Cardoso and Yagan Sasman.
Willard Katsande will as usual be anchoring the midfield, assisted by Lebogang Manyama, who will play in a more advanced role.
Bernard Parker and Reeve Frosler will occupy the wing positions, while Samir Nurković will lead the attack with Billiat.
The referee is Abongile Tom, while his assistants are Elphus Sithole and Tshepo Nojila. Siyabulela Qunta will be the fourth official.
Chiefs will face Baroka at Bidvest Stadium this Saturday afternoon. Kick-off will be at 15:30.
No spectators will be allowed in the stadium. The game will be broadcast live on the DStv channel SuperSport 2 and SABC 1, with commentary coming through the Twitter handle, @KaizerChiefs and various SABC radio stations.
