“We believe in one another as teammates,” reveals the 21-year-old, referring to the team spirit in the Amakhosi camp. “We are slowly mastering the philosophy of the coach (Steve Komphela).”
The match will take place at Nelspruit’s Mbombela Stadium on Saturday, 24 October 2015 (kick-off at 18:00).
“We are looking to win this match,” continues Gordinho. “We are doing the right things and we are playing well. Sooner or later we will turn the corner and more wins will come.”
Aces go into this match with their tails high up, because they are ahead of Amakhosi on points in the Absa Premiership (15 versus 11 points).
“It is going to be a tactical match,” Gordinho forecasts. “It will be an interesting game to watch. We are looking forward to a good game and we want to win this one for our supporters.”
Ahead of the Telkom Knockout quarterfinal, there will be various Kaizer Chiefs activities in Nelspruit. There will be two KC Roadshows with the first being today, Friday, between 12:00 to 17:00 at the Promenade Shopping Centre in Nelspruit.
On match day, Saturday, 24 October, the Kaizer Chiefs Roadshow will be at the Nelspruit Plaza Taxi Rank (from 10:00 to 12:00).
The tickets for the match are on sale at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide for R50 adults and R10 for children under the age of 12.
