Amakhosi coach Cavin Johnson spoke to www.kaizerchiefs.com ahead of their DStv Premiership encounter against Richards Bay at FNB stadium on Saturday:
On building upon successive league victories:
The back-to-back wins we have are good for Kaizer Chiefs. Since then, we have had a little break and I can tell you there is no shortage of motivation among the players to finish the year on a high.
On preparations for the match:
We are ready for Saturday’s game. There might be a few new faces in the team. Ashley (Du Preez) is in the squad so I can see how far he has come in his recovery, and I also have (Tebogo) Potsane and Dillan Solomons in camp.
On opponents, Richards Bay:
They have two very good coaches but we are aware of the threats they possess but we believe we can nullify them and come out on top.
Message to the Khosi Nation:
We are at home and we want to put on a good performance for our fans, many of whom are on holiday and deserve to enjoy an entertaining festive season. We want to go out and give our supporters a great Christmas present.
Tickets for the match between Amakhosi and the Natal Rich Boys are available online through www.ticketpros.co.za or TicketPro outlets, Spar and Boxer Supermarkets, Postnet as well as Sasol and Shell garages at R60 per ticket.
Kick-off for the DStv Premiership clash is set for 15:30 on Saturday at FNB Stadium in Nasrec, South of Johannesburg.
