The centre-back came from the club’s youth development academy when he made his official debut for Kaizer Chiefs’ first team against Maritzburg United on 11 February 2014.
Gordinho went on to play in 66 league and cup games, coming on four times as a substitute, scoring seven goals.
The defender, however, lost his regular place in the starting line-up towards the end of 2017 and it was decided that he be loaned out to Bloemfontein Celtic to play regularly.
Now Gordinho returns and he will train with the Glamour Boys for the first time this season on Saturday, 29 December.
“Lorenzo comes back at the right time,” continues Motaung. “because we have a few injuries. He got a lot of game time at Bloemfontein Celtic and, because of that, gained a lot of experience.
“It was a well spend year and we also thank Celtic for giving him the opportunity to play. Lorenzo learnt a lot during the past 12 months, which will help him on his return to the club.”
