Amakhosi also reached four successive knockout cup finals between 2001 and 2004, winning three of these in 2002, 2004 and 2005. Chiefs’ last title came in the 2010/11 campaign when they defeated arch-rivals Orlando Pirates in the final, successfully retaining the trophy they won the previous season by beating Ajax Cape Town in the final.
