Kaizer Chiefs’ first team physiotherapist David Milner reported an almost clean bill of health in the camp ahead of the Nedbank Cup quarterfinal against Baroka FC this weekend.

Only Kabelo Mahlasela is still sidelined. “He’s doing very well,” emphasised Milner. “Kabelo is playing in warm up set ups. He is participating in passing games, while continuing with running and physiotherapy exercises.

“His progress is according to plan. Kabelo will play as an extra man next week and will then go on to participate in full training in two weeks’ time.”

Meanwhile, George Maluleka is cleared and is taking part in full training. ‘Mido’ struggled with a calf problem, before picking up an ankle injury, which kept him out of the team in the past month.

Amakhosi will host Baroka in a Nedbank Cup quarterfinal fixture this Easter Weekend. The much awaited tussle is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 31 March at Port Elizabeth’s Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

Kick-off is at 20:15.

Tickets are sold via TicketPro online www.ticketpro.co.za and at Spar, Edgars, Jet, CNA and Postnet outlets at R60.
