Coach Ernst Middendorp has decided to hand Aro ‘Dax’ Andrianarimanana a starting position against Cape Town City this afternoon. The Malagasy midfielder will get an opportunity to shine in the Nedbank Cup quarterfinal played today at Mbombela Stadium.

Hendrick ‘Pule’ Ekstein and Teenage Hadebe come back into the line-up as opposed to Kaizer Chiefs’ last outing before the FIFA-break against SuperSport United on 15 March 2019.

This league clash between Amakhosi and Matsatsantsa finished in a 1-all draw.

Bruce Bvuma continues in goal, while Brylon Petersen will be his back-up sitting on the bench. Petersen comes in for Daniel Akpeyi, who is cup-tied because the Nigerian already kept goal in the Nedbank Cup for his previous club, Chippa United.

The young midfield talent Nkosingiphile Ngcobo who made his starting debut against SuperSport United, sustained an Achilles tendon rupture in that game and will be out for a while.

The match will kick off at 15:00. The referee is Khulekani Thusi, assisted by Kenny Mamegwa and Tshepo Nojila.
