Kaizer Chiefs reserves will begin their 2021 DStv Diski Challenge Rewired campaign on Saturday 10th April with kick off at 12h00 pm at Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto, against arch-rivals Orlando Pirates as part of a festival which will see Swallows FC kick off proceedings against Baroka at 09h30 am on Saturday morning. The Chiefs reserves will be led by Arthur Zwane and will be eagerly looking ahead to their opening game against Pirates, hoping for a win which will give them a boost and help them go a long way towards lifting the title.

The DStv Diski Challenge which was halted last season with Chiefs leading the standings as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic will see Chiefs and Pirates drawn in Stream 2 along with Baroka FC, Black Leopards, Bloemfontein Celtic, Mamelodi Sundowns, Swallows FC and Tshakhuma. Each team will face the other once with the top two teams from Stream 1 advancing through to face the top two teams in Stream 2 in a once off Semi-finals with the winners squaring off in the final to determine the champion.

Chiefs who started the competition in great form in 2020 prior to it being halted will be looking for a perfect start against Pirates and will be aiming to progress beyond the group and into the semi-finals. The best way to do that will be by beginning with a win against Pirates.

The Chiefs reserve team’s game against Orlando Pirates in the DStv Diski Challenge will be live on DStv Channel 202 on Saturday at 12h30pm.
