Kaizer Chiefs Reserves will participate in another ‘It’s Massive’ festival of the Multichoice Diski Challenge matches on the DAY OF RECONCILIATION.

The festival takes place on a significant day, 16th December, which is a Public Holiday in South Africa. On this day in 1838 The Battle of Blood River took place and in 1961 Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK), the military wing of the ruling party, the African National Congress (ANC) was formed.

Baroka FC Reserves and Mamelodi Sundowns Reserves will raise the curtains with an 11:00 kick-off. Black Leopards Reserves will lock horns with Orlando Pirates Reserves at 13:00.

To put the cream on top of the festival, Polokwane City Reserves will take on Kaizer Chiefs Reserves, kick-off is at 15:00. In the corresponding fixture played on 15th September, Chiefs collected maximum points with a 2-1 win over City. Sabelo Radebe and Lebohang Lesako were on the scoresheet on the day.

Fresh from back to back wins with an avalanche of goals scored and after 17 matches played, the Chiefs Reserves have collected 26 points resulting in the seventh position on the MDC log. Their opposition are in 14th spot with 13 points.

The festival is scheduled to take place on Monday at Kabokweni Stadium just outside Nelspruit. Entrance is free with tickets collectable at the stadium.
