Organisers of the 2002 Telkom Charity Cup have placed an embargo on the voting results, which will not be updated - on their official site - until the final four teams have been announced next Monday.

At the close of voting on Wednesday, crowd-pullers Kaizer Chiefs were placed second with 75218 behind Moroka Swallows with 80933 votes. Orlando Pirates did well to amass 75028 votes for a third place and Ria Stars completed the top four with 74840 votes.

Surprise packages Black Leopards, who at some stage occupied top position are battling to qualify for this charity event with 72800 votes behind Ria Stars.

Sundowns have struggled to move a gear up as they occupied sixth position for the better part of the voting process. They ended the day on the same spot with 67235.

Supporters can still vote until Friday. The four teams will be announced on Monday in Johannesburg and the draw will also conducted on the same day.

The event takes place at FNB Stadium on July 27 with the first match likely to start at 09:00 and the second semifinal at 12:00 and the final at 16:00.
