Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Rowen Fernandez was admitted to Lin Medical Centre in Benoni on Tuesday after a spider bit him. The player is currently in High Care and the seriousness of his condition is not known.

Fernandez had battled to command a regular place this season and only got a chance in the 5-0 Absa Cup first round win against FC Sporting.
